Terms and conditions – Hamnservice Ab HSS online store

1. General information

These terms and conditions apply to orders placed in the HSS (1012840-3) online shop. The company sells ferry tickets to its customers for the connecting vessel. By purchasing a ticket you accept these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions apply to orders placed in our online shop and to similar deliveries. These terms and conditions are valid from 1.4.2025. We may unilaterally change our terms of delivery from time to time, so please check our terms of delivery each time before ordering products from our online shop.

2. Products and product prices

The features and prices of the products in our online shop are set out in the product description for each product. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery charges, so please check the prices in your shopping cart before placing an order. The prices of the products include taxes, which will be indicated in the shopping cart and in the order confirmation.

3. Ordering and agreement

Services and products are ordered via the online shop by adding them to the shopping cart, confirming the order and paying for the contents of the shopping cart via the payment service. The order takes effect when you receive an order confirmation by e-mail. Please make sure that the contact details you provide are correct.

When ordering from the online shop, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of delivery in force from time to time. You understand that the order you have accepted and confirmed, subject to any exceptions relating to the right of withdrawal, is binding and constitutes a contract between us in accordance with these Terms of Delivery.

4. Payment and payment methods

All orders are payable in advance at the time of placing the order by the payment methods selected in the online shop. Payments are processed securely through a third party, Verifone Finland Oy. The payment service is provided by Verifone Finland Oy, a payment institution licensed by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. Payment transactions are carried out in Verifone Finland Oy’s secure payment environment.

Verifone Finland Oy is the recipient of the most common online banking, card and other payments on the statement and card invoices, and forwards the payments to the merchant. For other payment methods, Verifone acts as the intermediary for the transaction data, with Hamnservice Ab HSS as the recipient of the payment.

In the online shop, you can pay using the following payment methods:

– Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Oma Säästöpankki, POP Pankki, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken.

– Visa and Mastercard cards: Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Mastercard Credit, Mastercard Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro and Eurocard.

– Mobile payment methods: transfer, MobilePay and Apple Pay.

We use a secure SSL encrypted connection to process credit card and other order information. Credit card information is not stored on our systems, but is processed in Verifone’s PCI DSS-certified secure system.

Any delivery charges that may be charged for ordering products depend on the product itself (e.g. weight, packaging) and the chosen delivery method and are automatically added to the total amount of the order. You will see the delivery charges (if any) for your order in your shopping cart before you accept the order. We will deliver your order using one of the delivery methods listed on our website, which you choose when placing your order.

6. Cancellation and refund policy

6.1 Cancellation of services

The cancellation policy is described separately for each product.

7. Discharge and force majeure

The company is not responsible for delays or cancellations of service due to force majeure, such as bad weather, strikes, epidemics or other unforeseen events. In such cases, efforts will be made to offer the customer an alternative date or refund, but a full refund may not be possible.

9. Reclamations

If there is an error in your order or service, please contact us as soon as possible. All complaints will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

10. Data protection

Personal data collected in connection with orders will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act and will only be used for the processing of orders and customer relationship management. The data will not be disclosed to third parties without the consent of the customer.

11. Limitation of liability

HSS shall not be liable for any indirect or direct damage or any other damage related to the order, delivery or product or any of the above, except to the extent otherwise provided by a mandatory provision of the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law in respect of such damage.

12. Disputes

We will endeavour to settle any disputes regarding your order by agreement in the first instance, so please contact our Customer Service in the first instance to resolve the matter.

If a dispute over a commercial contract cannot be resolved by negotiation between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Consumer Helpdesk of the Registrar’s Office (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).

13. Other terms and conditions

The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions of order and delivery without prior notice. The subscriber should read the terms and conditions before placing an order.
